Design boards Process: Materials and sustainability
I have done my concept board and now I have to complete the rest of my design boards. Today I will be doing my board on materials and sustainability.
I first started by creating a new canvas to write on using Photoshop. I did this by clicking on 'New' in the top menu and then I clicked on 'Print' in the dialog box
and then chose A3 changing the orientation to landscape. I also chose a white background. I then selected my logo from my concept board, clicked on 'edit' in the top menu and selected 'copy', went to my new canvas, clicked on 'edit' and then 'paste' . I did the same for my project title. I also used the transform tool to adjust them to my liking
I then began to add my text by using the text tool in the left hand menu. I added the title of my board (Materials and Sustainability) using 'Garamond' the same font as before and 36pts as the font size.
After that, I started to add my image and type the information along with it. The names of my materials were in 30pts and the information listed was 24pts font size all in 'Garamond' font
I repeated this process for all other materials I was including to make the board consistent. I also used the move tool to align the words and images neatly.
I finally saved my work as a psd by clicking on 'file' in the top menu then on 'save as'. I also saved a copy as a jpeg
Update-
I edited the background of my boards using a photo chosen from unsplash. Here is the final look;
