Website Creation: Gallery Portfolio
In this post I will be creating my portfolio and website gallery on my Wix website. I will also be adding my finalised Architecture Project unto the gallery
The first thing I changed was the background colour of my portfolio page. I right clicked on the mouse and clicked on 'change background' and selected the colour I wanted. I did this to show consistency with all my other pages and to also make the colour more inviting for viewers.
My next step was to create a new page. I went to the pages menu on the left hand margin and clicked on 'New Page' and clicked on it to change the name to my Project name, 'SolarHaven Home'. I then clicked on the three dots on the menu page and clicked on 'subpage'. The new page appears underneath my portfolio page on the navigation menu.
I also changed the background colour to the same one as my portfolio page and I am now ready to upload my project for this term. I then added the title on my project by clicking on the 'add' button on the left hand menu and then on 'text' and 'heading'. I changed the font to 'Inknut Antiqua' which is the same font as the rest of my pages and I changed the size to 43pts also using the transform tools to centralize the text. After that, I went to the 'add' tool in the left hand menu and chose 'Gallery' and picked a suitable one for my project.
I then added a button for navigation. I did this by clicking on 'add elements' in the left hand menu and then clicked on button. I then chose a button design I wanted and dragged it to my page. I clicked on the button and changed the text to 'Back to portfolio' and also linked it to my portfolio page. I went to the 'design' button and changed the shape and colour of my button. I also changed the font to the same font I used as always, 'Inknut Antiqua' and also changed the font colour. I then used the transform tool to move my button to the top of the page.
I then went back to my pages and menu and added a button in the same way I did on the project page. I chose the same style, font and font size as the previous button and then linked it to my portfolio page. I then went to preview and checked if both buttons worked properly

Very good work and detail on process - well done - don't forget to add a final reflection
