2D Outcomes: Process
This post will show the process behind making my elevation drawings for my building. I did this on Adobe Illustrator and worked from this final sketch
I started by opening Adobe Illustrator and setting it to a white canvas in a landscape orientation and started to draw the basic shape of the building. I used the line and curvature tool to achieve this

While using the line and curvature tool simultaneously, I started to draw out the petals for my building. I did this freely so I could make adjustments later

I then used the pen tool to draw the curve of the dome and also the entrance. I still have overlapping lines because I wanted to get the basics down before cleaning it up.
Once I had drawn everything I needed to I started to make the drawing more cohesive. I use the direct selection tool shape my lines how I wanted and also used the erase tool to clean lines that were going out of bound
I started to add window panels to my drawing and also edit some parts that weren't accurate to the drawing
I then added my front entrance and the roof light for the dome. I did the door using the line tool and the alt key for duplication. I did the roof light by using the ellipse tool and using the rotate tool to cut it at 180° and then used the move tool to place it at the center of the dome
This is the final drawing for my front elevation
For my back elevation I copied my front elevation when I had finished the drawing (before I edited it). I then pasted it on to another canvas for me to edit. This made my work easier as the building structure looks similar from the back as well
To create the back door, I used the curvature tool for the curve of the door. I then used the line tool and the alt key to duplicate
I then erased the lines for the window panels as I did before
This is the final drawing for my back elevation
Update- Here are the elevations including the dimensions of the building

Back elevation
When you add this to your portfolio at the end of the project, ensure that you have included the dimensions of the building. This is something you should be considering when creating your site map.
